The Royal Wedding with a Yorkshire Twist

With the Royal Wedding nearly upon us, Wedding Daze and photographers PH Weddings wanted to create the Royal Wedding with a Yorkshire twist. There has been much speculation about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding day. Questions such as, which designer will Kate use for her gown? Have they used a wedding planner? What style of reception will the couple go for?

Along with PH Weddings we created William and Kate’s wedding day with very unique twist to it. We styled two looks that William and Kate could opt for. The first look was a traditional, vintage inspired afternoon tea. With mis-matched china, cream tea and a stunning lace dress with a long cathedral veil. The second look was a cool Britannia inspired shoot, more fun and quirky, this shoot was inspired by the colours from the union jack flag. To make the shoot look even more realistic our models David and Kaytie were our very own William and Kate look-a-likes!

We would like to thank all the fantastic suppliers who contributed towards the shoot and also Cusworth Hall who let us use this fabulous venue. Cusworth Hall is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony and reception, the Hall has stunning rooms and also gorgeous grounds for photos.
