Working with local Safe At Last Charity

Wedding Daze donates vintage china to Safe At Last's Vintage Tea Dance.

We were delighted to be able to work with the local Rotherham based charity Safe At Last and contribute towards their Vintage Tea Dance charity event. Safe At Last charity provides support for children and young people who are at risk of running away in South Yorkshire. They have helped thousands of young people, making a difference to their lives by providing a support line and refuge for those in need. The Vintage Tea Dance took place on Sunday 17th April 2011, at Sandbeck Park, Rotherham. Guests were treated to an afternoon tea mixed with dancing lessons taught by former American dance champions Judith and Tony Bennett!

The guests were treated to a real authentic vintage experience, the afternoon tea was served in Wedding Daze and Hansley Beard vintage china cups, saucers, cake plates, tea pots, sugar bowls and milk jugs. Hansley Beard offer a range of wedding/event planning services including the hire of vintage crockery, for further information please click here.

Wedding Daze are proud to support Safe At Last Charity, the event was a great success and raised money and profile of the charity. A big thanks to Claire at Safe At Last for allowing us to be involved.

Below are a few images from the day of guests enjoying their afternoon tea from both Wedding Daze and Hansley Beard vintage china collections.
